Does anyone remember who implemented call system.[hc] in the Io add-on for system calls?

Not in the darcs commit log? ;-) Man darcs was weird, but I did miss it. I see the project is still active which is cool, I'd try it again.

Actually I think callsystem was there before I came to io and you were shipping tar files only at that point.

Hi Steve- long time-

Is this related to the dropped pointer thing I saw when accessing the std
external C PostgreSQL lib? If so, it was *you* that implemented it after I
showed you the problem :) I'm falling back in to ANSI-land after some
Android fun- how has the DO stuff been coming along? I still have a
content-addressed distributed-proc model that I could probably get fully
working and tested, and flow it your way-

I'm falling back in to ANSI-land after some Android fun- how has the DO stuff been coming along?

Haven’t worked on that. I think I needed a real project to use it on to finish it. :)

I still have a content-addressed distributed-proc model that I could probably get fully working and tested, and flow it your way-

Sounds cool - I’d be interested to check it out.
